Publisher’s Blurb
A decadent night with the über-hot Reilly Jennings was bound to leave a lasting mark on Lucy Rice, but nothing could have prepared her for the little plus sign on a pregnancy stick. Now, she’s about to be the mother of a child conceived during a one-night stand.
Reilly Jennings has never wanted to be a father. But he’s not about to abandon his baby the way his biological parents did. It isn’t long before Reilly is every bit as captivated by the mother-to-be as the child she carries.
Suddenly, Lucy is rocked with all sorts of conflicting feelings for the father of her child. She’s been down the road of love before. It left her a blubbering mess, and she won’t let it happen again. But Reilly doesn’t seem inclined to let Lucy get away. In fact, he appears hell bent on keeping her close…
Each novella in the Blackwater Series is a standalone story and can be enjoyed in any order.

Review
Reilly’s Wildcard by author Anne Rainey is the fourth book in the Blackwater series. I love this series. I cannot get enough of the hot men and the strong women they love.
Lucy came back to Blackwater bar and grill to help her friend.  Her other reason was far more personal. She heard they were looking for a live band and she wants to audition. Her dream was to be a singer. She has had a crush on Reilly since high school. She has an ex that cheated on her and is no looking for more of the same.
She is a good person who has had bad things happen to her. I liked her strength and drive to stand on her own two feet.
Reilly is sweet, protective, strong both inside and out. Most of all he is a great friend.  The perfect person for Lucy. He just has some trust issues to get over.
A misunderstanding will lead them astray but maybe love can bring them back together.
This is my favorite story so far. It has heart soul and tons of connection.  I couldn’t get enough of Reilly. He is a great character with a lot of layers to unfold.
When you want a romance you cannot put down and leaves you wanting more from the series this is the one to pick up.
