Some hot and dirty sex with a hunky shifter is one thing, but Gavin doesn’t believe in fated mates or happily ever afters.

Mike Ivanov has enough problems with his pack as it is; they’re not thrilled that he won’t be siring the next Alpha, and now he has to answer a challenge from one of his pack members. Having his heart’s mate show up on the same night doesn’t help. Finding out that his mate is a snarky, rebellious human with a commitment problem and an ass he wants to bite?

Nobody ever said an Alpha’s life was going to be easy.

Review
Shifter Woods: Roar is the second book in the Esposito County Shifters series by author Nicola Cameron.  I loved this one. It is fast paced and has great characters. I love a good shifter story and make it MM you have me on page one.
This story is about Gavin and Mike
Gavin:  was writing a story for the local newspaper. The possibility of a white slavery ring kidnapping homeless women and forcing them to work truck stops. There was a tip-off about this cabin in the woods that a small RV used when they transported them.  there was a big possibility the women were still there.
Mike is the cabin’s owner.  He ends up rescuing Gavin. And finds Gavin is his mate.  But his mate is human, and he is an Alpha bear shifter.  He is being pressured to marry a girl. He knows now that will never happen.
Now he must figure out how to keep his mate safe and how to keep him in his life. Gavin is cheeky, and he will not take anyone’s guff. He is a fighter.  So, Mike has his hands full with convincing him they are mates and should be together.
Really loved this story. Makes me want to go back and read the first book cause I now must know how everything started.  I cannot wait for more as well. This story has action, adventure, and a ton of love that kept me reading and wanting more.
