Nick Darby has been in love with Carter since kindergarten when he stole Carter’s cookies and made him cry. Best friends all through school, they’ve stuck together through everything—except Nick’s declaration that he’s in love with Carter. Carter is straight, and the argument they have in their senior year of college finally ends their relationship for good when Carter says something unforgivable. Carter wishes he could take the insult back the minute he says it, but it’s too late. Nick disappears from his life and vows never to see him again.

But Carter finds after a few years that he can’t live without Nick, and he comes to the small college town where Nick is now teaching to confess his love for him and to try to salvage their relationship. He’s beginning to realize that he wants Nick back in any capacity—whatever Nick still wants. Will Nick accept his apology after so much time has passed? And will it take a Christmas miracle for the two of them to find their way back to each other?

Review
I am not usually one for holiday type stories, but I really liked Define Naughty by author Shannon West.  It is a fun read that I really liked a lot.
Nick is grumpy and in pain from leg. It is before Christmas break and the kids are excited.  He is just annoyed. He is a professor at Crawford College. He has a rep for his bad temper. He survived an explosion in the army. He rescued his friends.  He is kinda bad ass. But his leg suffered scarring and damage from the blast.
I liked Nick he is a sexy adorable grump when we meet him. But he has a great heart that shows through.
Carter is a new instructor starting at the college. He teaches modern poetry. These two had gone to school with each other when they were kids. Nick has a ton of bitterness towards Carter.
But Carter has come to get Nick back in his life. They had been best friends at one time and Carter wants that again.
This is a sweet quick romance. I think Nick really needs Carter in his life, he needs a breath of fresh air. Carter needs his best friend back and together they are an amazing couple.
This is a quick sexy romance that made the holidays a little spicier for me.
