Review
A Detached Raider by author Ana Night is the first book in The Black Raiders series. I really love a good mystery thriller and this one is that. Then throw in heat and connection and you have me hooked from page one.
Detective Cade Lawson believes in justice. There is a serial killer targeting pedophiles and child abusers. While that might sound okay, the man is still a killer that he is hunting. Cade will do what it takes to take a killer off the streets.
Cade is a good soul. He sees a lot of the jaded side of life but still has a good heart and believes in what he does.
Detective Cole Banks has been chasing this killer for a while now. Two years to be exact. He joins forces with Cade to find this guy. He never expected to find a friend and lover along the way.
While intensely focused Cole is really a person who feels deeply and with all he has. I like his drive and passionate nature. Makes him good at his job and a good lover.
There is a lot to this story and I really enjoyed that. I liked the who dun it quality to this story along with the great love story.  Fast paced and very well done. I would love to read more from this series in the future.
