They say a baby bird imprints on the first creature it sees when it's born. I wasn't a baby bird, but I had imprinted on Hank the moment he stood over me with his fists raised, protecting me from playground bullies.
I had been five. Hank had been seven. He was my hero from that day forward.
If he laughed, I laughed. If he hurt, I hurt. If he got a brain freeze from eating his ice cream too fast, my head ached as well. Hank was everything.
And then one day, he wasn't. He was just gone.
I was willing to go through hell to get him back.

Review
Operation Tango by Stormy Glenn is the story of Hank and Ian.  I enjoyed the story but it felt incomplete.  I loved Ian.  He has loved Hank forever and been in love with him almost as love.  But can he be the man Hank needs?

This story by Ms. Glenn feels like the beginning of something and ended a bit abruptly.  I enjoyed getting to meet Ian.  I enjoyed seeing Hank through Ian’s eyes.  I enjoyed seeing Ian find the courage necessary to find Hank.  I enjoyed seeing Ian come into his own.  But then what?  Ms. Glenn gave us the bones of a story that is missing its ending.  What happens next?  How will Ian and his friends cope?  How will Hank and his team?  What about Hank’s future? His teammates?  This story left me with way too many questions.  It felt unfinished even though I enjoyed what Ms. Glenn gave us, I needed more in order to find satisfaction in this story.  I hope Ms. Glenn will return to this world and provide not only answers but closure.
