Rhonda Delacour hadn’t always been the biggest fan of Vincent’s, but he grew on her. So when she has an undercover assignment for the SFPD, and is in need of backup, there’s only one person she wants at her back. And when everything goes sideways fast, Ro truly comes to appreciate the man behind the badge.

For a while Vincent Bradley considered Rhonda nothing more than a pest he had to tolerate. How quickly things change when they spend time together. Only realizing the depth of his feelings for her when her life is on the line, Vincent will do anything, kill anyone to keep Ro safe.

Hidden away to keep her safe, Vincent knows it’s the perfect opportunity to show Rhonda how much he cares for her. Unfortunately they can’t remain hidden forever. To have the future they both want they’ll need to cross some dangerous lines.

Ro trusts Vincent so when she needs backup on an undercover mission, he is the first person she thinks to have at her back. So when her undeniable trust is rewarded when she needs him most, will Ro and Vincent cross Dangerous Lines as the run for her life? In the third installment of Moira Callahan’s C & M Security series, the attraction between Ro and Vincent explodes even as danger surrounds them both. Ms. Callahan gives us a strong female character in Ro. She is attracted to Vincent but hiding it and denying it to herself. But she is not the only one hiding, Vincent is fascinated by Ro and more than happy to cover her back. But when her life is threatened he will pull out all the stops to keep her safe. I loved seeing Ro and Vincent as they let down their respective guards. And even as the learned to appreciate each other they had to keep Ro alive. Ms. Callahan packed quite a bit with a few words. This story was well paced and full of action. The characters were full of depth and likeable. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series and can’t wait to see who Ms. Callahan has set her sights on next!
