Misha and Borys sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G …

Misha falls in lust at first sight with the big, sexy bear shifter, but she doesn't have time for his mating nonsense. Raised in Russia by tiger shifters, she came to America to follow up on her first real lead for finding her biological family.

Borys wants the smokin’ hot bear who recently wandered into town. Now all he has to do is convince Misha that she’s meant to be his. The stubborn woman won’t give him the time of day, though, saying she’s looking for her kin.

His biggest problem? He might be the family she's looking for.

Misha is on a mission and falling in love is not on the agenda. However Borys has a different plan and losing his mate isn’t it. But will he be able to convince Misha that Bears Do It Better? This is Jessie Lane’s addition to Grayslake: More than Mated kindle world. And I must say that I enjoyed her contribution to this world. Misha is looking for family and thinks she may have found it with Borys. But fighting an overwhelming attraction is not the type of family she was hoping for from Borys. But Borys knows a secret. Can he convince Misha they can build a family together? This was my first time reading Ms. Lane’s work and it will not be the last. She gave us characters that were authentic and real. I found myself laughing at Misha’s aunt. She was caustic and adorable. She allowed Misha to grow and accept what could not be changed. I loved Borys’ grumpiness. He wasn’t looking for love either but he was determined to protect it when it came. Misha and Borys together fit. They were fully developed characters that found something they never knew they were missing in each other. This is a quick read but Ms. Lane did not leave me feeling as though I was missing anything. This story was well written and full of wonderful dialogue. I look forward to seeing what else Ms. Lane has written in her own worlds.
