Love is... Elena Kincaid with CONTEST

Hi Everyone. My name is Elena Kincaid and I write Erotic Paranormal and Contemporary stories where my males are hot Alphas who do anything for their women and my ladies are anything but damsels in distress. Thank you so much to Tina Brunelle for allowing me some space on this awesome blog. <3
If someone were to ever ask me what the meaning of life is, I’d say love. Love is the meaning of life. There is no greater joy than to love and be loved, and it comes in many forms.
Romantic love for me is fire. You burn for each other, like a blazing inferno, all consuming, and then later, when the intensity of the flames turns into a constant, consistent, familiar, comforting heat, it still warms and the spark remains.
The unconditional familial love may have always been a constant and steady emotion, but we would feel empty without it as we would without the love existing in friendships. Those often build slowly, without intensity, but they sneak up on you and suddenly you have it; kindred spirits who get you, not because they have to, but because they want to. No blood ties to force a connection, but it can be just as unconditional as a familial love.
It’s no wonder why so many of us get sucked into the world of literature. Whether we lack love in our own lives or have it in spades, we want to see it in others and experience it vicariously. We laugh, we cry with the characters, fear for their lives, and are sometimes gutted by the emotional rollercoaster a book has taken us on. Writers get to channel their emotions, life experiences, made up fancies; a subconscious mind becoming conscious.
To me, Love is an art form.
I take my ideals about love and try to throw it into everything I write, like a slow and angsty build-up between my romantic couples, or trios when I write ménage. My endings are always happy for my Romance novels, but it’s getting the couples/trios there that’s the fun part.
My first ever published book is called Three Made In Heaven (Made In Heaven #1) and believe it or not, it started out as a dream. I had a dream about a man and a woman, sitting in an igloo. The woman was distraught, crying about how much she loved him but didn’t want to live in a dream anymore. I actually woke up all emotional and wanted so badly to fall back asleep in order to finish the dream to see how it all played out. Since I couldn’t, I got out of bed and began to frantically jot down the igloo scene and then everything else sort of just clicked and I had virtually the entire outline written down within the day. I hoped that if I could feel this much emotion and connection to my characters, that readers would as well and you can read the igloo scene pretty much the way I dreamt it in the book.
I am currently in the process of finishing up the second book in the series, titled Ocean’s Three, which delves a bit further into understanding the soul-mate/psychic connection. I had been working on other projects, but am ecstatic to return to this world I imagined and to share it with readers. I didn’t dream about these new characters, but fell in love with them all the same. Fun Fact: A huge chunk of this book takes place on a cruise and I actually wrote a big part of it while on a cruise. Talk about inspiration.

GIVEAWAY: So here’s a question for you readers: What was your favorite dream sequence in Three Made in Heaven and why? And if you could create your own romantic dream sequence what would it be and who would it be with?
One winner will be selected to receive 1 ebook copy of choice from my currently available titles. If you haven’t read Three Made In Heaven yet, just answer the second part of the question for the giveaway.
