Iris Gibbs comes to Lusty to visit her best friend and discovers why she’s never felt at home in her own skin. Then Tamara thrusts her toward two Kendalls who are Doms.
Rich and Donny know Iris is the perfect, little subbie for them. It’s just a matter of getting her to say, “Yes Sir!”
Iris thinks some of the things she’s read about are definitely not for her—and then she goes with Rich and Donny to the Lyon’s Den, a private club where practically anything goes. Instead of being repulsed by what she sees, she’s intrigued. The men know Iris has a few issues to work through before she’s ready to trust them completely. They take small steps to that end, encouraged when Iris not only begins to share her inner-most insecurities, but her trust.
And then Rich stumbles onto a sex-slave ring, and time for their happy ending might just be running out.

Review
I love returning to Lusty, Texas. The family and community are filled with characters and a loving community and Love Under Two Loners by Cara Covington is no exception.
Iris is visiting her old friend never expecting that her world would be expanded in ways she isn’t sure she is ready for but Rich and Donny are more than willing to help open her eyes to a whole new world. Even as Donny and Rich are learning that family means more in Lusty; they have found a woman who seems to fit them and their needs. But convincing Iris to trust is a challenge. Both men are ready, willing and able but outside forces may stop this budding relationship in its tracks.
I love that Ms. Covington continues to give us characters that are so fully developed you could reach out and touch them. Iris insecurities are so well developed and fit not only the character but the story lines as well. The compassion her men must exhibit to help Iris explore this bold new world is well articulated. Both Rich and Donny are making major changes in their lives but are quick to take advantage of providence in the form of Iris. I love seeing these characters work to blend their lives. Donny and Iris may have appeared to have more in common but Ms. Covington made sure that Rich was not left in the cold. Both Iris and Donny appreciated what he would bring to their relationship. Danger comes from unexpected sources but the town of Lusty again rises to the challenge. This is an excellent addition to the town and its residents. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and can’t wait to return.
