Raze is a member of the Wreckers MC, sentenced to life for a crime he didn’t commit, all because of the damning words of his best friend’s little sister. New evidence surfaces, proving him innocent, and once he’s released he’s determined to find the woman responsible. It doesn’t matter that they had history, doesn’t matter that he’s wanted her for the better part of a decade. Rosa’s betrayal has cost him three years of freedom, and he wants retribution.

Raze isn’t exactly good but spending three years behind bars for something he hasn’t done wasn’t what he was expecting. He especially did not expect a friend to lie in court and nail his coffin shut. But that is exactly what Rosa did. Now he has nothing but vengeance to look forward to. And when he is released, Rosa will become His Possession, at least until his thirst for vengeance is satisfied.
This is my first time reading Tory Richards’ work and I can say it will not be the last. I enjoyed getting to know both Rosa and Raze. Raze skirted the edge of the law even before he was convicted but underneath it all he wasn’t all bad. He had a code of honor that was rock solid. He was blindsided by Rosa and determined to take his pound of flesh, but can he move past his feelings for Rosa? I enjoyed the struggle Ms. Richards showed as Raze fought his attraction, love and thirst to hurt. And Rosa’s guilt was overwhelming but she refused to allow Raze to treat her as someone who is less than. She understood Raze’s desire to hurt even as she fought to protect her heart, as much as possible. This story was well written and a bit gritty. I enjoyed the journey Ms. Richards took us and her characters on and hope that she will revisit this world in the not too distant future.
