A NAVY SEAL ‘Failure is never an option’ and Kai lives by that SEAL code. He and his team have rescued Alexa not once, but twice, and now he is faced with the biggest challenge of his life. Alexa has come to mean more than she should, but his life is too dangerous for hearts and roses, and she has had too much heartache to settle for anything less.
A DAMSEL IN DISTRESS… Alexa is tired of all of the curveballs life has thrown at her. The final straw comes when she is confronted with a six foot plus man, who could either be her salvation or her downfall. It is up to her to convince her stubborn SEAL that they are worth taking a chance on.
MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE… When Alexa’s past is revealed and she and Kai find out she is not who she thought she was, some of the world’s most wanted come out to play. Can the team keep her alive long enough for her to prove to Kai that what they have is worth fighting for?

Review
Alexa is tired. She is running for her life only to find out there are bigger monsters in the world. In Delta Salvation by Elle Boon, Alexa finds an unexpected knight but who is he protecting? I enjoyed meeting Kai previously so was excited to see what Ms. Boon had in store for him. And I must say I enjoyed the woman that caught his eye. On the surface Alexa may not have been the best fit for him, but as we got to know her, Ms. Boon showed us she was exactly what he needed. Kai’s world is dangerous and he needed a reminder of why he does what he does. While Alexa may have been ill prepared for his world, when push came to shove boy did she show us hidden and wonderful depths. Alexa didn’t take any mess even while scared to death. She fought especially for those she cares for and I loved to see her charm not only Kai but also his team.
Kai isn’t quite sure what to expect from Alexa. Is she truly innocent or playing him and his team? Can he trust her and the budding feelings she brings out in him? I don’t know but I sure enjoyed the journey to find out!
I really liked the first in this spin-off series. Kai and his team are strong, silent and desperately in need of someone to show them why they protect the world. I can’t wait to see what feisty women Ms. Boon will give these unsung heroes.
