They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Being summoned was not one of them. Isaac Braden was used to being summoned. He was a demon after all, but the night he was called to service a master in a satanic ritual, he knew his night was not going to end well.
Isaac Braden spends most of his time being a rich recluse, but every so often he's introduced to someone new when he's summoned… a blood sacrifice. And tonight Jory Daniels has been chosen to be that sacrifice.
In a satanic ritual summoning gone wrong, Isaac finds himself eternally bound to Jory. He has to have the man's blood in order to survive. But when Jory wants something in return, can Isaac submit enough to allow it, or will his demon nature take over and cause him to lose the best thing that ever happened to him?
Note: This book was previously published under the title Blood Sacrifice with another publisher. This updated version has been extensively revised and expanded an additional 18,373 words.

Review
Jory is on a mission to see the world. However, when a night in a bar leads to finding himself drugged, tied and laid out as a sacrificial offering, his world changes in a big way. Isaac has been summoned many times. But when Jory is offered he finds things a slightly different. A mistake leads to being tied to Jory permanently. Is this a good thing? In Primal Oath by Stormy Glenn, we find out.
I really enjoyed Jory and Isaac. Both men are strong characters and not used to submitting. As they struggle to find a middle ground, the world as they know it is quickly changing. Secrets abound and Jory and Isaac must learn to trust each other. However miscommunication brings with it the possibility of destroying what their binding has made possible. I love that Ms. Glenn showed the struggle these two characters had to reach their happily ever after. They were tied together but that alone is not enough for happiness. Both men had issues in their past that made it difficult for them to trust and Ms. Glenn did not skirt around the emotional mines. I loved that she didn’t make it easy even though their chemistry was off the charts. Sex alone wasn’t going to be enough to save their lives and their future. This story was well written and enjoyable. It was a wonderful twist on what many believe demons to be and I enjoyed her spin. I hope that Ms. Glenn will visit this world again in the future as I quite enjoyed my visit.
