Publisher's Blurb
Kodiak bear shifter, Khan Vega, is being forced to take on a mate and get married. He has lots of options but there's only one true option for him: a curvy woman from his past that he just can't let go of. It's too bad that she wants nothing to do with him.

BBW, Bailey Lewis, hasn't spoken to her ex in five years since the day he just vanished from her life without a word of explanation. He had left her with more than just a broken heart, though, he had left her with a little cub growing in her stomach.

When the two former lovers get thrust back into each other's lives will Bailey be able to reveal the stunning secret that she's been hiding for five years? And with a larger threat looming over Vega Ranch will Khan and Bailey ever get the happily ever after they desperately want?

This is the second book in the paranormal bear shifter romance series: Vega Brothers (The Bear Shifters of Vega Ranch). This can be read as a standalone book but will be much more enjoyable after reading book one.

Review

Khan by Kim Fox is the second book in the Vega Brothers series. This one to me is the best by far. Not only have we established the brother's personalities a little more, but there is a lot of story to Khan's book. Khan has always loved one girl. Bailey. He and his brothers were forced by the government to go on special missions. They could not tell anyone though. So when Khan mysteriously left Bailey five years ago she had no idea he really did not have a choice. What I liked about Khan is he is intensely focused on who he wants, and he is the most determined. He has an Alpha quality that jumps off the pages and really made me feel it too. I love his soft side too. He is a great blend of Alpha and loving that kept me reading and wanting more of him.
Bailey is a strong woman. She can overcome whatever life throws at her. She also has a secret she has been keeping from Khan. One that will change both of their lives forever. I liked that she was not dependent on Khan she is capable on her own. I love a strong heroine. She knows though when she needs help and is willing to ask for it.
Over all this story for me has the most well rounded characters. I loved the connection and the pace of this story. I am looking forward to the day Alexander finds his mate. That boy needs one so I hope his story is next.
