After being rescued from ten months spent in hell, all Harlan Thomas wants to do is go home to the one man whose memory kept him alive. Trouble is, Miko is not where Harley left him.
Mitsuaki Thomas was heartbroken when his husband didn’t come home from a mission. He didn’t give up when the letters stopped or even when his mother-in-law had a funeral for Harley. But when he’s forced out of his home, Miko finally admits that maybe Harley is gone. Still, he wants to continue the dreams they had discussed, no matter how impossible they might be.
When Harley shows up on his doorstep, Miko is shocked to learn that he’s alive. Miko just doesn’t know if the life he created will be enough to keep the man home and happy.
When trouble starts, Harley and Miko have to put aside their differences and learn to work as a team or the people bent on keeping them apart permanently just might get their wish. With the help of some friends, they just might have the chance to keep their little family together.

Harley kept so much of his life hidden that when he went missing no one knew to protect his love. Now that he is home can he repair the damage done in his absence? In Harley’s Heart, Stormy Glenn continues her Special Operations series. Harley is back but where is Miko? When he finds him, can he accept the changes which happened in his absence? Can Miko accept what Harley’s return means to the world he has built alone?
Miko has kept Harley in his heart the only way he can. He lost his home when he lost his love and he is just beginning to pick up the pieces. With Harley’s return, Miko’s world is again upended. I loved that Miko grew. He became strong in a way he didn’t know was possible. Can Harley accept the changes his “death” forced Miko to make? Ms. Glenn does a wonderful job of showing the changes in both men. Harley was tortured and survive and Miko was no less injured. Seeing these men fight to be together even though they have grown and changed apart was wonderful to see. The love was still there but they had to accept they were not the same men who fell in love. I loved seeing Miko regain the trust he had in Harley and bend in ways that were comfortable for him. I loved seeing Harley appreciate the man Miko became in his absence even as he fought to protect the family he didn’t realize he had. This is a wonderful story and a great addition to this series.
