The moment Moira Devereaux walks into his bar, shapeshifter Ronan Kelly knows she's going to be trouble. No matter how tempting she is, he won't risk the safety of his makeshift pack. He has every intention of sending her on her way until he hears her compelling story.

When Moira's father, the mayor of Lorelei, tries to force her to wed a man she doesn't know, she runs to the one place he won't follow. The local shifter bar. Nothing could have prepared her for the immediate attraction she feels for the owner, Ronan.

In a moment of weakness, Ronan offers her a job and a place to stay despite his misgivings. No one is more shocked than he is when he discovers that she's his mate. Will he be able to convince her that he's worth taking a risk on or will he be forced to let her go?

Trouble Walked In by Michelle Roth is the first book in The Forsaken Few series. I hope there are many more this one really drew me in and made me want more.
Ronan owns a bar for paranormals. He is a wolf shifter. Tough, fair, works hard. Has a very passionate side he doesn't let a lot of people see.
Moira is fleeing her controlling father. He owns almost all of the small town she lives in. But he is scared of the shifters so she flees to the one place she knows he wont follow her. Unfortunately with her sassy mouth, and feisty attitude she manages to find trouble within the first few minutes of being there. She has to convince Ronan to let her get back on her feet. Having been in her shoes once he decides too.
What starts out as a good deed soon turns to more. I liked how they were friends and that progressed into more. Their chemistry really jumped off the pages and made me keep reading. I liked how well matched these two are as well, both in and out of bed.
I like too how Ms Roth kept me reading wondering where the story was going next with action and love. This is a well thought out book with a lot of heart in it.
