The Rock Prowler alpha condemns Viola for her inability to shift. Forced into poverty and isolation, she ekes out a meager existence as a healer. As the pack omega with a crippled knee, she’s forbidden to mate. Her first heat beckons, but no wolf will dare to bed her.

Titus, a wolf rejected by his true mate, overflows with violence and anger. The Lykae King sends him to take over the Rock Prowler pack. He condemns Viola for wanting payment before she treats her patients and threatens to bring in a new pack healer. With her crippled knee and no other income, she’d starve.

She-wolves from families who disagree with the alpha have vanished. When Titus investigates, the alpha’s allies imprison both him and Viola. To escape, he must seduce Viola—the she-wolf he insulted and reviled. If that’s not bad enough, she despises him for his seeming allegiance to the alpha. As he gets to know her, she steals his heart, but after all that’s happened, how can she accept him when even his fated mate refused him?

Titus has lost his mate. She lives but can’t accept him. So when his body begins to betray him, he fights and fights hard. Unfortunately he misses the signs of a second chance in his battle. And his treatment of Viola is less than honorable. Will he be able To Seduce an Omega and make amends when he finally listens to his wolf? This is the fourth installment of Kryssie Fortune’s Scattered Siblings series. And while you do not need to read this story in chronological order, you gain more enjoyment knowing the history.
I adored the strength of Viola. She survived when many would have given up and she kept a giving heart. That takes a core of strength many lack; she was down but not out. And when her body wakes up in the presence of Titus she can’t understand why. He is rude and downright ugly. I wasn’t sure how Ms. Fortune was going to redeem him. But Titus hasn’t had it easy either. He hides his heart behind layers and layers of ice and disdain. He allows his misconceptions to guide his actions but when he understands just how wrong he is will it be too late? The path to a happily ever after was not easy for Titus and Viola. Both had scars physical and emotional which made trusting difficult. Could Viola look past their rocky start? Could Titus see past Viola’s apparent greediness? I enjoyed the journey Ms. Fortune took them and us on as they fought for their happiness. This story is full of twists and turns and added to the overlying story arc. It is a wonderful addition to the series and I am looking forward to more.
