Until now.
Gage Bell considered Ryan the one that got away--except he never pursued Ryan in the first place. He's done trying to ignore the way Ryan makes him feel, and an incident on the track has given him the right incentive to find the sweetness he's always known was in Ryan's arms--if Ryan will give him an inch and let him take the wheel.
Gage is ready to rub the right man.

Will Kendra accept her destiny and take on the mantle of power that is her birthright, or will she leave her people at the mercy of her family's cruel enemy, leaving the love of her life and the world of magic behind?

Review
I really enjoyed having author who usually write steamier give a go a something a bit tamer. I will admit my favorite stories in the anthology were written by Elle Boon and Caitlyn O’Leary. In Elle Boon’s A SmokeJumpers Christmas we revisit previous characters and get a slice of their life after their happily ever after. I enjoyed seeing the love was still present even as danger abounds. She kept it sweet, moved her series along and allowed us to welcome a new addition. In Caitlyn O’Leary’s Her Adoring Seal it was fairly obvious she was setting up the next story in her series. But she didn’t leave us hanging in this story which isn’t always an easy feat. If you hadn’t read this series you may have felt like something was missing but overall it was easy enough to figure out what was happening. I loved Jack and his family and appreciated what they brought out in Beth. The stories were diverse and enjoyable. Each story was relatively short and some authors handled that better than others but overall I did like this anthology. I look forward to reading more from them in the future.
