Newly minted MBA Tristan Jones doesn’t seem like the gaming type but he knows the business inside-out. Together, they’ll give an awesome presentation – they just have to survive the cross-country trip. Ravi’s opinion of Tristan is rebooted when he discovers a softer side to the conservative charmer and a new tension builds between them.

Despite their best efforts to keep it casual, things heat up quickly. Tristan is hiding his true self for fear of what his parents might think. Ravi knows that feeling all too well, but he didn’t disconnect from his family years ago only to hide who he is now. To be together, Tristan has to push past his fear and ultimately decide, does he want a future with Ravi? Or is it game over?

Review
Beta Test is the second book the Gaymer's Series by Annabeth Albert. I never read the first book in this series and I was not lost at all. I love the rapport of the video game place they work for. That vibe made me want to be a gaming programmer! I wanna play the newest games too.

Ravi is a game developer. He does graphics as well. An amazing artist. He can easily talk to other people. Very comfortable in his own skin. Flamboyant and colorful character. Everyone loves him and he gets along with everyone. That is except Tristan. The pencil pusher of the group.
Tristan is the number cruncher. The organizer, the one Ravi would like to see most with his clothes off. He goes to work in buttoned up shirts and ties. He does not fit in with the rest of the gamers. Odd man out with many secrets. One being he has a crush on Ravi.
One road trip and these two find out they are made for each other. I loved how Tristan could loosen up when he discovers that Ravi is a sweet guy who wants him to be strong. He wants Tristan to be the person he wants to be. Not what Tristan thinks others want him to be. I loved Tristan. He is the one to find the good in you and nurture it so your the best, but he never takes credit for the things he does. He just wants to go about things behind the scenes. Let someone else shine. I truly felt for him when he talks about his family. Ravi too has family issues that Tristan helps him with. Ravi learns that when you love someone, you have to trust them too. With your entire heart.
This story made me laugh, it has great humor. Lots of sexy scenes too. But the real story is the friendship and love Ravi and Tristan develop.
I love geeky love stories and this one is one in spades. When you want a story that makes you smile and fall in love this is the one to pick up.
