Tide Germaine is a model and a Dom. He and his best friend Tyrone opened The Iron Eagle Gym as a place for gay men in the lifestyle to work out, do scenes, and congregate with like-minded men. The modeling is just another job for Tide, but it soon turns into a grand seduction as Tide falls for the shy, self-conscious photographer. The problem is Lance doesn’t believe he’s in Tide’s league, and he’s not at all sure about the Dom and sub thing.
It’s not going to be easy, but Tide’s going to have to convince Lance he belongs at Tide’s side as both lover and sub.

Review
The New Boy by Sean Michael is part of the Iron Eagle Gym series. Lance is a photographer. He needs models for BDSM cards. He is having a hard time finding the right people. He is more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. He is very interested in BDSM when he sees the men and poses but has never dared to admit that. He stays quiet and in the shadows.
Tide is friends with Tyrone and Brand. They go to apply for a job as BDSM models. They are really professional, good natured guys. Tide ends up wanting Lance to be his submissive. Tide is a Dom who knows what he wants and he is willing to do what it takes to bring the shy photographer out of his shell.
I loved the intensity of this book. The heat, connection and BDSM really brings this book to another level. I think Sean Michael does BDSM like no other and would buy any book with that in it from them. This one lives up to the reputation. I cannot wait to see where this series goes in the future. I want more. Definitely more.
