The Christmas Eve wedding Evan Cleary pulled together in four weeks is crashing down around him and taking his fledgling event planning business with it. With an empty altar and over a hundred guests arriving soon, he turns to the resistant, gorgeous brother of the runaway groom for help.
When Richard Patterson’s flamboyant brother storms out hours before he’s scheduled to marry his equally dramatic partner, Richard is left dealing with the fallout. The last thing he wants is more drama, yet he can’t deny his attraction to the effeminate event planner trying to salvage the wedding.
Evan thinks his crush on Richard is a lost cause, but one steaming kiss later, he learns different. What starts as a night of hot sex turns into a connection neither expected. But Evan knows their relationship is hopeless unless the ultra-conservative Richard can embrace every part of him—both in private and in public.

Champagne Kisses by Lynda Aicher is a quick fun read that kept a smile on my face. I like a good tension filled story and this one is that. Also these two opposites have an attraction that sizzles.
Evan is the wedding planner and he is not having a good day. The groom has decided to leave in a flourish. He has no where to turn but to Richard the brother of the runaway groom. Richard cannot stand flamboyant high maintenance men. He thinks that is what Evan is to a T. Only when they are left alone and have a little to much champagne they both find great ways to communicate and find a middle ground. Only can they make it work the next day when the champagne wears off?
They have a bunch of misunderstanding but under that is a pair of great men who really just need each other. Evan needs Richard to be the grounding force in his life, and Richard needs Evan to bring the color and excitement to his. I would love to visit these two again one day and see where they are. For a fun read that is sure to make you smile this the one to pick up.
