Ladies, like a tiger’s stripes? Tug his tail and keep him forever!

The wolves came first. Followed by the bears. Finally, lions decided to play in the spotlight, but the tigers have held off. Let everyone else get stared at. Ares was happy on his mountain with his pride while humans thought they knew all about the different shifter species.

Their secret was safe…until her. One reporter took tigers from the shadows and thrust them into the limelight by releasing a picture of a tiger shifting. Specifically — him. (What could he say? A little moonlight, a little fur…)

Now he has a town of stripe-hunting women looking for a tiger’s tail to pull and… a full moon on the horizon.

Can he keep his tigers from being mated against their will? Better yet, can he forgive the one woman responsible for outing his species? Ares isn’t sure, but he’s willing to give it a shot.

Review
She outed the tigers. Not only did she out them but she let out a secret that could cost more than their livelihood. Zoe didn’t mean to cost tiger shifters. Can she repair the damage?
The Fast and The Furriest by Celia Kyle is the first in a brand new series. The world knows about shifters but humans are not happy to know they are not top of the food chain. Ares and his tigers weren’t ready to let the world know they existed but the woman that should be his has betrayed his trust and his pride. I wasn’t sure if I would like Zoe but I shouldn’t have worried. Ms. Kyle did a masterful job of making Zoe likeable and strong. It was unexpected and I enjoyed seeing Zoe accept her mistakes and convince Ares to give her another chance. I found myself laughing out loud at Zoe and her best friend. Their relationship added to this story in a good way. It humanized Zoe and allowed humor to drift into issues that were heavy even as they added to Ares and Zoe finding their happily ever after. The passion between Zoe and Are as well as the love both fought against and for felt real and believable. Ms. Kyle told this story with both humor and emotion and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the characters in this new world she has created.
