Kathryn Lively Thankful Post and Contest

Redz World Blog – Kathryn Lively

Every time somebody asks me what I’m thankful for, I tend to think of the social trend, “first world problems.” That’s when the barista at Starbucks doesn’t put enough whip on your mocha frap (or too much, depending on how you swing), or you’re constantly having to flip the USB plug over and over until it fits in the slot. If these are the worst things to happen to you in a day I’m jealous. That’s not to say my life is round-the-clock disaster, but some days are better than others.

This year, writing wise, wasn’t bad for me. I’m thankful to have completed a few novellas and I’m on the way to finishing my first serial. Not everything I’ve written is published now, but perhaps in the future. I’m thankful this year for having had a more productive writing year than in the past. This doesn’t mean I’ve sold more books, but I’ve managed to up my creativity and word count in 2015. For 2016 I’ve set a goal of writing more, and longer. I could also be thankful that when I seek out quiet for writing, the family gets it.

What are you thankful for this year? I’m giving away a $10 GC to ARe, Amazon or to a lucky reader who comments.

I am thankful that my father is still in remission and that my brother got a job so he did not lose his home. I am also grateful to all the authors who write such wonderful books that give me a chance to escape a few hours from all my worries and give me hope <3 slholland22 {at} hotmail {dot} com
