Gabriel (From Grace, #1) (A Wicked Tale) by Kris Norris - Romance>Action/Adventure
He asks for a demon and gets an angel. Awkward!

Kei can’t believe his last ditch effort at stopping what could very well be the coming apocalypse has failed before it ever started. All because he messed up one spell. One awkward summoning.

From the moment the angelic man looks up at him from the within the sigil inscribed on the ground, Kei knows he’s in trouble. Blue eyes, smooth skin, and a body so perfect…it’s Heavenly. Getting involved with someone like that—no matter the physical pull—is nothing short of sinful. He just wished his soul cared enough to stay away.

Becoming lovers is the least of their worries. Darkness is on the horizon, and if they can’t find a way to stop it before it takes hold, humanity won’t be the only thing that falls from grace.

Review

Gabriel by author Kris Norris is part of two series, From Grace it is book one, and is it also part of All Romance Ebooks' A Wicked Tale series. I found myself a new author to fall in love with. Kris Morris does an amazing job of bringing the fight with good and evil to a whole new level in Gabriel. I love the idea of a warrior angel being summoned by accident to help a mage who sometimes is not on the side of good. Kei really wanted to summon a demon he could possess and go kick some demon butt with. What he ends up with is an angel. Not just any angel mind you, no he gets a kick-ass archangel named Gabriel. Gabriel is very self righteous when we first meet him. He is not thrilled to be summoned by a fire mage. But once he finds out what Kei's mission is, he will help. After all Abaddon is the fallen angel to be stopped before he destroys the Earth. The more these two are together the more in love they fall. That love makes them both stronger emotionally and with their own powers. The way Ms. Norris put that together really was masterful. I liked how love and trust was a key to making them unstoppable. I would love to read more in this series, so I hope there is more to come. If you want to read a new epic battle with lots of MM love inside this is the book to pick up. Start of what promises to be an amazing series.
