A wererabbit and a tiger-wolf hybrid? Impawsible!
Wererabbit Bethany Buchanan hopes she can create a new life in Deals Gap, North Carolina. Home to the weird, wacky, and unwanted, it should be a place where she doesn’t have to hide (much) and can be herself (mostly).
When she meets Carter, a hotter than hot tiger-wolf hybrid, she knows she’s found her new home. Especially when he purrs and tells her he wants to eat her… in a very naughty way. Carter loves every inch of her curvy wererabbit body and is willing to do anything to make her happy.
Why? Because Bethany is his mate and he’ll kill to keep her. Which, as it happens, he might just have to do. You see, there’s this vicious werelion from her past and he’s looking for revenge…

Review
What’s a wererabbit to do when the rest of her family is the leader of shifters who see her as prey? Find a new home, even if her family loves and would die to protect her. So that is what Bethany does in the first in Celia Kyle’s new series The Buchanan Clan.
In Impawsible Bethany is just looking for a place to fit in, she is not looking for a mate. However she gets not only a new home but a mate to boot, but why couldn’t she be fated to be with a nice safe non-predatory shifter? No fate has given her a tiger-wolf hybrid. I love Ms. Kyle’s work and this story is no exception. Ms. Kyle always comes up with interesting character combinations and somehow seems to make them not only work but plausible. I mean who would think a rabbit shifter and tiger-wolf hybrid would work? Bethany has to overcome not only her nature but also the baggage she has hidden from her family. And I must admit I adored Carter. He was a combination of two predators and while it isn’t always easy he manages to maintain a balance. That balance is tested when Bethany enters his world but he is so patient and understanding. All while making sure Bethany knows that he is going nowhere. Carter dealt with Bethany and her family with humor even as he made it clear that Bethany was his to honor and protect. While this is a quick read, it is full of humor and love. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to meeting more of the residents of this unique town.
