Alex Cander had her life all planned out – mom married off, check. Police academy graduation (all done in secret) – double check. Assigned to one of the biggest cases in her county – triple check.

Yet Alex knew this smooth ride couldn’t last long.

Sure enough all hell breaks loose, literally, when her stepfather asks her to help his sons get acquainted to their surroundings. Not only were her supposed stepbrothers claiming her as theirs, but it turns out they are demons.  On top of this, she learns that her own grandparents weren’t even human?

And that’s no even the half of it!

A being called Darkness has stepped forward claiming her as well. Now she is mated to three demons that not only control her every movement, but also her heart…someone pinch her please.

Alex is ready to live. She has her job and is ready to protect those in need. Except for one tiny problem, her new stepbrothers. They think she is their mate and putting her life on the line well she can just forget it! In Her Stepbrother Are Demons by Trinity Blacio, compromise is the word of the day. Because not only is Alex the mate to brothers, she is also the mate to the boogeyman known as Darkness. And she isn’t the only one mated to be his, the brothers must rearrange their thinking as to who is the alpha. What the hell! I love the twists and turns Ms. Blacio gives us with this latest stepbrother tale. Alex is strong willed and not ready to be tied down to not one, not two but three mates. Can she handle them? And are they ready for what changes they must make in order to have a happy mating?
I enjoyed seeing Alex move past her insecurities to accept the men in her life. Tork, Darren and Zain are set in their ways but understand they must bend in order for Alex to flourish. I love that Ms. Blacio gave me a story in which a happy relationship was the end goal. Alex was willing to bend. And her men were willing to accept the woman fate gave them instead of their preconceptions of a perfect mate. This story is a wonderful quick read and well worth your time and money.
