Endangered Species by Cheyenne Meadows - Romance>LGBTQ>Gay
Injured, exhausted, and on his last leg, lynx shifter, Jordan, all but gives up hope. After weeks confined in a research lab against his will, he manages to escape only to become hunted and is on the run. His will to survive is strong...if only he can keep going.

Noble finds a ragged, bloody shifter on his doorstep in desperate need of attention. He recognizes a similar kinship with Jordan--they're misfits. Noble can't change forms, a fact his family won't accept. Jordan, thanks to the experimentation, can achieve any feline form, but not without a price.

Together, they find common ground, trust, and compassion as the winter snows offer protection from Jordan's hunter. Feelings deepen and passion erupts. However, both know their time is limited. A mad scientist with torture on his mind won't stop searching for his creation--or killing anyone who stands in his way.

Review
Author Cheyenne Meadows makes a very original fun story with Endangered Species. I like the characters. Jordan is a very broken man when we meet him. He has been brave and he escaped the labs that were doing work on him and other shifters. He really is brave he not only escaped but he took something important so he could save other shifters.  But that makes him a wanted man. They are trying to kill him. But Noble takes him in. And falls in love along the way. Noble is a shifter who cannot shift. But he has a heart of gold. I liked to see him grow and find his inner shifter.  When you are looking for a book with lots of love this book is the book to pick up. I liked the general storyline. Makes me wish this book was a series.  There is a lot of story and some things not resolved in this book.  I think there is so much more to explore.  I did like how Ms. Meadows kept the pace pretty fast but not so fast I was falling behind. There is a great love story here. The chemistry and connection between Noble and Jordan is sizzling hot. I liked the gentleness of Noble. He is a natural care giver. He is alpha too at the same time. Jordan is braver than even he thinks in this book. he does things he can never imagine in the name of survival and love.  For the true romantic this is a perfect read.
