Gabriel Ward has no problem with the fact that he's an Outsider. Hell, he's always known he was different. What he takes issue with is the idea that he has to follow any destiny at all. He's always taken care of himself, and there's no way he's going to start following rules now.

Loraine Peacock can speak to animals. Other than that, she thinks she's just a regular woman making her way in the world. She figures it's not that weird. Many people have unusual abilities.

But when Gabriel and Loraine are forced together by the very destiny he denies, they will both have to accept their legacy and join the Outsiders in their quest to defeat the ultimate evil. That is, if they can survive long enough to find their way to their most important destiny of all: love.

Review
Love Beyond Loyalty is the third book in the Outsiders series by author Rebecca Royce. These books should be read in order.  There is a ton of storyline that builds on each other in each book.  This one not only do we get the love story of Gabriel and Loraine but we also get to see more of the struggle Alexa is going through being trapped with Sebastian and believing his lies. The war is coming and the battle lines are now being drawn. Whose side will Gabriel end up on is the big question.
Gabe is a man raised on the streets of New Orleans.  He is happy to have survived all he has, and to have his own home. A place he owns.  That is until Sebastian sends a tidal wave to kill him. But Gabe is very lucky, Loraine and her dog Futon save him.  Loraine can talk to animals. And as it turns out is Gabe’s soul mate.  I like Loraine she is quirky, loyal, and very kind.  She also can kick butt if she has too. I think Gabe needs a character just as tough as he is but willing to put it all on the line for him.
I really love how we are finally seeing everything coming together. There is a real storyline that is slowly being drawn together through each book.  I cannot wait to find out what happens next will Sebastian win?  Or can the Outsiders and true love win the day?
