The Avenging Angel…
Gabriel is the man his people need, an avenging angel who brings death to those who torture and massacre shifters. He never planned to take a mate, but once he does, it takes everything he has to walk away. She wears his mark, but for now, that’s all he can give.
A Woman Alone…
Abandoned at birth then shuffled between foster homes, Kenzie knows what it means to be unwanted. Even adoption didn’t make her feel loved when she was booted out at eighteen. She’d expected her mate’s mark would give her a place to belong…and someone to whom she’d belong. It didn’t. She was marked, mated then discarded.
Mine…
The mark awakens things long dormant inside Kenzie and sends her on a journey for answers. She won’t stop until she learns the truth, even if it tears her world apart. She’ll find the ones who left her to stand alone when they should have loved her. She’ll start with her mate.

Review
Mated but he doesn’t want to keep her, is the battle Kenzie must fight.  Will she accept Gabriel’s view or will she fight for the future she has always dreamed of?  We find out just what Kenzie is made of in Lacey Thorn’s Liger’s Mark.  Kenzie has the wind knocked out of her when Gabriel marks her, mates her and still leaves her.  Her past rears its head in a vicious way and she has to fight to find her footing.  I loved how Ms. Thorn made Kenzie both weak and strong.  We saw this female character whois respected by her comrades.  She was viewed as strong but with a single bite, we see behind the façade Kenzie has presented to herself and her friends.  Even she was surprised by what bubbled up after Gabriel leaves her.  I loved how Ms. Thorn allowed Kenzie to find her strength even as she embraced her weakness.  I adored seeing this strong female character that fought for both herself and her man.  And Gabriel also had some changes to make and some lessons to learn.  He needed to accept that mating was as important as his calling.  He needed to accept more than what his father taught him.  I loved seeing him fight for Kenzie.  And Kenzie did not make it easy for him in spite of what her body demanded.  This story was packed with emotional growth and believable chemistry.  I thoroughly enjoyed this addition and can’t wait to see what happens next with Ms. Thorn’sAwakening Pride series.
