Thresls are rare shapeshifting creatures that can only be born on one planet in the universe. In order to transform from beast to man they have to bond with a human mate. Once transformed they are forever bound to the one they’ve chosen, however, sometimes what should be an automatic process turns into a traumatic event.

While mates and enemies battle for the good of the Thresls, the cat creatures themselves will ultimately have to decide if they want a planet of pure bred shifters or if they can make room for their half-bred children and stubborn human mates.

Book Three in the The Thresl Chronicles series.

Zander Elios only wanted his Thresl to transform into his mate. Little did he know that once the Thresl changed, Zander would be the one who had to make the most adjustments.

Zander had just about given up on his Thresl ever changing forms. After two years, the beast was still in his cat shape with no signs of changing any time soon. When his health becomes precarious and his Thresl shifts to save him, Zander wonders if he was truly meant to be a mate of one of these special shapeshifters.

As part of his new duties as ambassador to the Thresl king, he is sent to investigate the source of the Thresl smuggling. Unfortunately, when things go wrong they go very wrong and Zander’s Thresl, Leo, is kidnapped. It will take all of his love and diplomatic skills to find their way back together.

Do you want someone who fits you to a “T?”  Someone who balances you even as they take hold of your heart?  If so than a Thresl is just what you need, but only if they find you worthy; and Zander is beginning to think that his Thresl is having second thoughts.  They have bonded but his Thresl is still on four legs and not two.  Why?  What has Zander done or failed to do?  Dealing with a possessive Thresl leads to a lonely life and Zander is beginning to feel the lack.  Ms. Kell did a wonderful job of articulated Zander’s plunging self-esteem.  I could feel his despair and dissatisfaction.  Zander has been a presence in this series and when I learned that he was to get his story, I couldn’t wait.  Zander was such a sweet character and I was so vested in him that I was angry on his behalf.  Don’t you just love when an author has made a character so real to you?  I wanted to throttle his Thresl just on general principle.  But never fear, Ms. Kell had a plan and it involved danger and intrigue.  Just what a stubborn Thresl needs to get his butt in gear.  When Leo decided to make a change he did so with gusto.  I went from angry to enchanted with just the stroke of Ms. Kell’s pen.  Leo was just afraid of change.  He had gotten comfortable with the status quo.  I loved seeing how willing he was step outside his comfort zone, especially when it was necessary to win the politician of his heart.  You will love seeing how in Politician Won by Amber Kell.
