When life gives you a second chance how do you decide what to do?

Julianne Locke knows the pain of loss and what it can do to a soul. She has refused to let any man close...until an accident puts a man in her path who will change her life forever. Keenan is the one man she cannot seem to keep at a distance. Whether it’s fate or coincidence that brings them together, Julianne cannot walk away from this man who pushes all her buttons and makes her want to believe in hope once again.

Keenan Callaghan’s first look at Julianne makes him forget that he’s supposed to be all about business. The instant attraction and connection he feels for her leaves him unsettled. He quickly comes to the realization that he wants to know more about the woman who not only tempts him, but makes him forget all else but her. Julianne might be trying to keep him at arm’s length, but he’s a patient man. He knows the best way to weather a hurricane is to hold on and ride out the storm together...forever.

Review
If you are looking for a story full of love, laughter and loss, then Hurricane by Taige Crenshaw is the perfect pick.  Julianne has suffered the loss of her high school sweetheart, her rock and the father of her child.  But with the help and support of friends and family, Rissa and she have weathered the hurricane.  Maybe they have weathered it a bit too well and Julianne has gotten comfortable with her world.  That is until she meets Keenan.  Keenan does something Julianne thought was impossible.  He sparked her interest and her libido.  However, Keenan wants more from this single parent.  He wants to become a permanent fixture within the lives of her and her daughter.  Julianne struggles to allow Keenan completely into her world and Ms. Crenshaw did a wonderful job of showing how Julianne fights to keep him separate from her family even as he edges into her professional life.  I loved Keenan and his willingness to give Julianne time until he isn’t.  He wants a future. He wants to be more than a piece on the side.  He wants it all and he is willing to fight for it even if it means letting Julianne go.  I loved the depth of emotional growth Ms. Crenshaw showed us as Julianne let go of her guilt and decided to step into a future.  But did she wait too long and push Keenan too far?  Pick up Ms. Crenshaw’s first story in her Singleton series to find out.  I promise you will not be disappointed.
