Two Howls (ALPHAS) by Sean Michael - Romance>Erotic Romance
Max is on the run, but is he running from his past, or toward his future? Only Ulf knows…

Werewolf Max knows desiring males is wrong, but he can't help himself. When his pack nearly kills him in an attempt to cleanse him, Max runs. Jumping on his motorcycle, he heads north.

Ulf has lived on his own in the wilds of Northern Ontario for a long time. When he catches the scent of a stranger in his territory, he’s angry at first, until he realizes that Max is more than just another werewolf. They’re mates.

Ulf must make Max believe that two males can be mates, but just as he’s about to succeed, Max's past catches up with him. Will the home they've been hoping to build together be lost for good?

Review
Two Howls by author Sean Michael is a beautiful addition to the Alpha series.  I am loving how diverse this series is, a little something for everyone.
Max Sterling is looking for a safe place. He was driven out of his pack because he is gay. They have been hunting him down ever since. He finds his way north, to a cabin. He knows it belongs to another shifter but he cannot stop himself from falling asleep.
Ulf was out patrolling his grounds, he comes back to his house to find the most gorgeous shifter asleep in his bed.  Ulf who does not like to be human that often, stays in the wolf form and lets his mate know he is welcome to stay too.
I liked that both of these guys are a little bit alpha.  Ulf is the obvious alpha but Max has a strength to him as well. A steel that has allowed him to live this long. Ulf will have to get Max to let him in to keep him. Ulf though his kindness and love do win the day.
I liked this not so obvious take on shifters. Something  a little bit different.  MM wolf shifters are my favorite genre, and this one is one for the keeper shelf.
