Review
Beautiful Nightmare by Bella Juarez is a nice short read.  It is Ms. Juarez’s second offering in the 1 Night Stand series and as the series is connected only through the agency run by Madame Eve it can be read as a standalone.  I wasn’t quite sure what to think about Aaron in this story.  Was he submissive? Was he dominant? Was he both?  I didn’t know for quite some time.  And while Ms. Juarez had Aaron lean more to the submissive side, I wasn’t sure if I bought what she was selling.  Having said that, I did like him as a male character and the romantic hero in this story.  He was confident in his business even if he would rather design than sell.  He was respectful to his mother.  And he found someone he could trust to handle the aspects of owning and building a business which he and his business partner deplored.  That is where Natasha comes in.  Again, I couldn’t figure out what she brought to the sexual table.  Was she submissive?  Was she dominant?  Was she both?  Ms. Juarez made a call that I wasn’t sure about but I loved the strength of this female character.  Natasha worked to move passed her shyness.  She made a point of stepping outside of her comfort zone; as a result she gained the trust and admiration of Aaron and his business partner.
While I struggled to follow where Ms. Juarez took her characters, I can honestly say I enjoyed them both together and singly.  They were strong individuals who hid not only their love for each other but also their inner core.  Both were respectful and family oriented.  Aaron allowed Natasha to shine while Natasha allowed Aaron to create.  I believed in the feelings that they had for each other and Madame Eve allowed them to look past their work relationship when she set them up for their one night stand.  Their chemistry was fiery and believable.  While this is not my favorite story by Ms. Juarez it is a good read.
