When Jake Campbell lands his dream job as ranch-hand in training at the Striker Ranch, more than one dream comes true for the handsome young cowboy.
Jake has never told anyone that he’s gay, but the powerful physical attraction that he feels for the foreman, Jackson Stone, and his right-hand man, Nate O’Connell, leave no doubt in his mind that handsome, muscular men do it for him. They’re probably both straight though, I mean, most guys are, right?
Jake decides, better to keep his desires to himself, than risk being rejected, ridiculed, or worse. So, he keeps his mouth shut and waits. He doesn’t have to wait long as Jackson makes his own desires known at the first opportunity. Thrilled to learn that Jackson and Nate are together and that they both want him to join them, he eagerly embarks on his first sexual adventure. How can they build something more when trouble keeps coming their way?

Kinky in Kansas starts off with Jake by Bea LaRocca.  This book starts off pretty steamy and keeps that momentum going throughout the book.
Jake is a virgin. He has not told anyone he is gay. He is pretty sure the other ranchers would not appreciate his sexual preference. He desperately wants the ranch foreman Jackson.  He also finds himself attracted to Nate.
Jackson is calm and steady. Makes Jake feel grounded even the worse situations.
Nate was the first to take Jake under his wing. He is welcoming and just a really nice guy.
I found myself wanting to know much more about the ranch and the people that live there. I liked the pace of this story kept me turning the pages. I wish there was a tiny bit more build up before the sex.   But over all this is a fast paced good read. I would love to meet more people and learn more about the town. I cannot wait for the next Kinky in Kansas book and find out who falls in love next.
