Two wounded souls in love, but is their love enough to go the distance?

Jake Charles knew the moment he met his dom that they’d have a future. Granted, they’re relationship consisted mostly of scenes and a few conversations, but he knows his heart. He’s in love with his dom and determined to do whatever it takes to prove his devotion to Master Tony.

Master Tony doesn’t deal well with deviation from his norm, but he’s staring down the barrel of a few massive changes. He’s in love with Jake, but will love be enough? Tony will have to worry about more than just himself—he’s now a father. Can this dom become the man he needs to be for his son and his sub or will he have to leave life at the club far behind?

Review

Taking Desire is the sequel to Needing Desire both by author Megan Slayer.  I am so happy this book came out. I was pretty sad when Needing Desire ended thank goodness Tony and Jake really do get a happy ending.  We really get to know Tony his life, and his fears.  I liked the more in-depth view we get of him. Gives another layer to the love story. Jake turns out to be really strong in this book. His quiet strength gets Tony through a lot.
I love how Ms. Slayer really ties BDSM to the emotions in this story. I liked that the sex scenes were not just thrown in there to have sex but they had a real meaning to them.  It brought both men closer and more of their layers came to light.
Over this entire book is not a standalone it must be read in order but I think you will love Jake and Tony’s journey. Both men are amazing and their love is one I will remember for some time to come.
