As one of Earth’s greatest leaders, Commander Jax Spartan lives his life by a strict code. Dedicated and alpha to the core, he is the epitome of what every Elite solider aspires to be. Second-in-command Sullivan Archer rules by his best friend’s side, and together they form an unstoppable force that few are foolish enough to challenge. Jax and Archer have always known they’d share their chosen, but their hearts have already been claimed by the woman they’ve vowed will belong to them.

Alliance scientist Serra Lysander is a genius who has kept the planet safe with her inventions. She’s lived a sheltered life, separated from society by her brilliant mind and her overprotective mother. The only time Serra has truly ever felt accepted is with the two men that will cost her everything…

When danger leads Serra straight into the arms of Jax and Archer, they will do anything to keep her safe, even claiming her despite the fact she is off limits. With the future of the Alliance on the line, will their love and dedication be enough to save them, or will they be too late to stop the growing threat from destroying them all?

The third book in the 3013 series is Claimed by Laurie Roma.  Has a character I really wanted to learn more about Jax Spartan, we met Commander Jax in Mated. I have been looking forward to his story.  Such a strong character I was curious to find out who his mate would be.
Sullivan Archer is Jax’s best friend and the man he will share a mate with.  He is second in command.
Serra Lysander is the woman who captivates them both.   I really felt Serra’s pain for all the things that had kept her from the men who loved her.  Serra is a strong woman who has suffered but now she has the chance to be with the men who love her.
I loved how Ms. Roma brings strong emotions with a great story line. I loved the contrasting personalities that Jax and Sully has.  They balance each other out.  Serra is the glue that holds them all together.
I loved the emotional connection and love inside of this story.  I also liked how I got to meet a new race one I would love to know more about in the future.   This is part of a series, I suggest reading them in order to fully get everything going on.   There is a lot of world building and things you need from previous books.  I found though it made this book that much richer.  When you want some really powerfully written stories I suggest picking up the 3013 series they will not disappoint.
