Alexis Donovan is a woman whose dream of falling in love with the perfect men has been dashed because of her infertile status. Still recovering from a war that almost destroyed the world, humans have fought to rebuild and have once again opened their shields to outside visitors. As a liaison officer for alien races that are visiting Earth, Alexis does her best to ignore what she can never have, but when she is put in charge of four visiting alien warriors, her entire world changes...

Dragons Warriors from Arcadia, Xavier and Galan Tesera and their best friends Thorn and Brydan Volis, have been curious about Earth ever since they helped the humans defeat their enemy years ago. As commanders of their own space vessel they travel the galaxies searching out the unknown, but in their hearts they know they will never truly be satisfied without a mate by their side.

When the four Dragon Warriors land on Earth they are instantly enamored with the sharp-tongued liaison who ignites a burning passion in their hearts, and know that she is the mate they have been searching for who will complete their souls. Will Alexis take a chance on four alien warriors or will the fear of leaving everything she has ever known destroy her chance of finding true love?

Review
Mated is a great start to the 3013 series. Author Laurie Roma brings four very diverse characters together to make an unforgettable story.  Alexis is considered to be nothing by Earth standards since she is infertile, but to her three new Dragon Warrior mates she is their everything.   Alexis is a strong character she makes her own rules and follows her own heart.  I liked that she is strong and self reliant.  But she has softness too that she shows her men.
Xavier and Galan are brothers they seem to be the dominate males of the group. Xavier more so than anyone in the group.  I really liked both of their go getter personalities.
Thorn and Bryden are more the diplomats and the ones to ease you into something. I liked that too because at points Alexis really does need their gentler touch.
Over all they all make a great ménage group.  There is no MM all the focus is on Alexis, I hope she is taking vitamins because with these men she is going to be more than a little busy.  I did find myself a little overwhelmed with information; it happens a lot with first books to a series.  There is the world building and the dynamics that have to be explained. Ms. Roma does a great job of making this world real and telling you all you need to know to understand the book.  I was a bit overwhelmed by like I said I really think it is a first book thing, I have to know this information to read on.
I adored Mated and cannot wait for more from the 3013 series in the future. I want to see who fall in love next and how their mates deal with it all.
