Raul VicMoran and Angela Kalucian will not tolerate what Colony is doing to their kind, the jaguars. One of the leaders in the community is making arrangements with the humans to sell their services as mercenaries. Hired killers. To hunt, capture and eliminate someone else’s prey. The level of humiliation is too strong to endure. After fleeing Colony, Raul and his two male littermates travel through the mountains, south into the desert and finally the jungle as they work their way to Central America, where the only other known colony of jaguars live. Raul and Angela’s love for each other blossoms during their trials and ordeals while traveling. Angela also comes to respect all three VicMoran males to the point where she feels protective of them. Raul knows in his heart, without any doubt, Angela is his female. No one will ever challenge him for her. But for one night, in the complete blackness of the heart of the jungle, all three VicMoranmales will share Angela, truly bonding the four of them together for life.
Reader Advisory: These cat-shifters aren’t your everyday cuddly tabbies. The males are wild and feral; the females are strong and won’t roll over to have their tummies rubbed. They make leopards seem domesticated. If you want your loving untamed and fierce, then come take a ride on the wild side…if you can stand the heat.

Review
Angela is struggling with the changes that are coming to the Colony.  She believes they are following a road that leads to dishonor and her litter mate is at the center of the change.  To add to her discontent, Raul has decided that she will be his.  I loved that Angela did not make it easy for Raul.  She was confused and unsure about the future but she was confidant in what she wanted and expected from a mate.  I loved that Raul allowed Angela the time to grow.  Even if she was unaware that he was keeping a close eye on her, and had feelings that were ran deep, Raul wasn’t going to allow harm to come to Angela.  Raul was Alpha to his core but willing to show the depth of his feelings.  Ms. O’Clare showed the character of Raul not only through his words and conduct but through his interaction with his littermates and Angela.  I found myself falling in love with Raul right beside Angela.  I enjoyed the battle of wills between the headstrong Angela and Raul.
InLorie O’Clare’s Black Seduction, we are taken into a world slightly different from her other worlds but I am looking forward to what lies before us in the journey the begins with this, the first in the Black Jag series.
