A betrayal from the two people closest to her sends Jammi Price on the road to only place she ever experienced solace—a cabin her late aunt left to her. After a slick winter road and a long walk in the rain, Jammi finds herself face to face with Mr. Sexy Cowboy.
Justin Henshall is no stranger to having life turned upside down. When his world fell apart, Mrs. Price stepped in, providing the love, comfort, and security to make him the man he currently was. After her death, Justin is hell bent on keeping the only place he ever felt safe.
One trip in the snow and a broken ankle later, forces Justin to step up and take care of the little spitfire he so tried to avoid. Instead of the stuck up spoiled brat he had anticipated, he begins to see the true beauty she is, cracking the wall around his heart.
A friendly poker game with his childhood buddies pushes him to claim what is his—Jammi. When clothes start to fly, Justin takes matters into his own hands and gives her a night filled with wild passion, laying his cards on the table. But…is it all just a huge bluff?
When romance begins to bloom, will Justin be able to keep all he holds dear, or will Jammi be able to show him home is where the heart is?

Review
This is the first book I have had the pleasure of reading from author Willow Brooke.  Cabin Fever has a strong plot that kept me turning the pages.  I liked the strong female heroine Jammi.  She has such heart and soul, but she isn’t going to take crap from anyone.  The balance of vulnerable and strong in her character kept her likeable and made me want her to have the happy ending she deserves.
Justin is a vulnerable hero.  I like that about him. His vulnerability made him even more appealing to me. He has a strong sweet heart and it certainly shined through in this story.  He has an inner strength that is purely male that drew me in.
There are many layers to this story, Ms Brooke did a great job of making me very invested in her characters, not only through hotter than sin sex scenes but through their very connection inside the story itself. That can be hard to do inside a story but Ms. Brooke makes it look very easy.  The flow of this story is really nicely paced and easy to believe and follow along with. I wanted these two characters to have love and happily ever after together and this book doesn’t disappoint there.     I would love to read many more books from Ms. Brooke.  This first introduction to her work for me just whetted my appetite for more.
