Kylie Duncan has had difficulty adjusting to living on a sexually permissive planet with her husband Aiden, but her hardest challenge is yet to come. Aiden found love in the most unexpected place when he broke his planet's traditions and married a woman from Earth.
When he informs her that he wants them to host a young man to live with them, for what he calls a “golden change,” she doesn’t hesitate. When she learns the young man will change physically, resulting from their sexual relationship with him she is shocked.
Jacob Hayden finds the couple intriguing and is surprised when he realizes that he is falling in love with Kylie and Aiden.
On this strange planet, will Kylie open herself to the possibility of loving more than one man, will Aiden allow his heart to be open to another person, and will Jacob find that the love he feels for them will overcome his societies prejudice?

Golden Change by Lynn B Davidson is a really fast paced read.  There’s a few hiccups for me in the plot.  Kylie is from Earth, her husband and soon to be lover  are not.  The part where she gets sick from sex if she doesn’t do a ritual to basically cure it, that kinda made me think her mates were just mean, why would they do something that makes her deathly sick?   But it does get explained, and does fit into the plot.  Kylie is married to an dominate man named Aiden.  I would have loved to read their love story, I bet it was amazing.   They have to help a new coming of age ritual.  That introduces us to Jacob.  From this a love between all three grows. I had to suspend belief for more than few places in this book, but having said that it’s a really good book that made me really want to read  Aiden and  Kylie’s previous story.  I hope one day to read that. I think it would help me understand and accept a lot more in this story.  However if this were a second in a series I would say loves!! Bring on more.  Hey maybe the author could do a prequel…yeah bring on the prequel!
