Will bad blood keep them apart?

After finding strange tracks from a huge unknown breed of wolf near their home, Blaine, the alpha of the gray wolves, must investigate. Alone by a nearby stream, the shifter is surprised to discover who the tracks and the scent belong to.

The Dire Wolves, an ancient pack the grays thought extinct, came spoiling for a fight. Led by Kerrick, the northern pack of huge wolves had traveled south looking for two things in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains—to take over and to find mates.

When Blaine is taken by surprise by Kerrick, he finds himself strangely attracted to the huge male. But then Blaine accidentally almost kills Kerrick, escalating tension between the packs. Will the two alphas be able to resolve the conflict between them and merge their packs or will they lose each other forever?

Bad Blood by author Shannon West is the fourth book in the Bad Boys series. Though really this book is a standalone book, so don’t worry if you haven’t read anything else in this multi-authored series.
This story introduces a new breed of wolves the Dire Wolves, they are old powerful and looking for a place to call home.  Kerrick finds the Dire Wolves a home unintentionally when he finds his mate Blaine, a leader of a wolf pack.  Kerrick thinks claiming a mate and making them love you is easy. Blaine will teach him it takes work, and understand.   Kerrick and his Dire Wolves tend to be as subtle as an elephant when they want something.  But I loved the truly alpha qualities, tough men in leather riding motorcycles…need I say more?   MM werewolf is my favorite genre to read, and this book is perfect for any paranormal fan like myself.  Ms. West does an amazing job of bringing together two unlikely people, and having them find a love worth fighting for.  The emotional connection is steaming hot, I would love if his book had its own spin off series. I want more Dire Wolves and their mates in the future.
