WHAT GETS YOU ALL HOT AND HORNY? by Cassandre Dayne

WHAT GETS YOU ALL HOT AND HORNY?
Cassandre Dayne

I thought I would throw that one out at you. Does a hot looking man in a suit with piercing blue eyes send that sizzle directly into your wet heat? Is it the buff construction worker with fine looking six pack abs that makes you envision of a hot summer, a pearlescent white sandy beach and one frosty cool beverage? What about the dangerous tattooed hunk that climbed off a stunning steel Harley? Hmmm, is it getting hot in here?
I have been asked as an erotic writer whether my scenes get me all warm and fuzzy or to the point of sheer combustion. Well, I do have certain tastes in men and those scenes tend to give me little pricklies over my entire body. I like them rough and rugged, preferably with a very naughty boy accent. Could there be anything better than lying on a soft bear skin rug, a crackling fire next to you, the music seductive in it’s luscious dark strains of guitar and the man kneeling over you, perfect. Close your eyes and envision his long locks falling over your naked breasts as he whispers words of pure uninhibited lust in that deep, husky timbre with an Aussie accent.
Now, I need a tall glass of wine! Writing about a stunning hunk is wonderful and I enjoy delving into the man, finding out his foibles, his desires and that delicious wicked streak. I truly enjoy paying attention to what he drives, what he drinks and what he enjoys eating. Imagine that scene where he’s slathering you with whipped cream or raspberry jam, using just the tip of his tongue to lick it off as he gazes down into your eyes. I try and incorporate a bit of naughty uses for food or drink into most of my stories. I also love to be creative in how they see each other for the first time. Let’s see how Stephanie describes David the very first time she meets him. This is from my upcoming release, Revving Her Wild Engines:

Passing the last bank of recreational vehicles, she jerked to a stop and tried to focus. No way. She fought a giggle that bubbled in her chest. “Thank you Fairy God Mother of Wanton Needs, I have just found 1-800-sex-stud.” Was it possible to faint when first meeting a man? Stephanie had no doubt about that delicious answer. Hell, yes! As the sultry breezes danced across her flushed skin, the only thing she heard over all the raucous noise around her was the wild thumping of her heart battering her rib cage. Her mouth suddenly went dry and she wanted nothing more than to race to him, kiss him passionately and rip his clothes off. Where in the hell had this reaction come from?
Never would Stephanie have imagined she could be dragged from the near depths of hell from just seeing one man. Maybe their naughty conversations had healed her after all. Hold on girl. Control. He’s just a man. But he wasn’t, just a man. He was gritty, opinionated and sexy as hell. At that moment, he might possibly be her savior.
David Tyler stood next to a sparkling Harley wearing a seductive gaze, the huge shining machine a sensuous backdrop. His long muscular legs were trapped in tight black jeans and a white tee shirt clearly showing exactly why God made man in the first place. The look on the man’s face told Stephanie several things about the stunning hunk that took her breath away and set her blood to the point of boiling. He was hungry, he was impatient and she suspected given their blazing conversations that he was going to ravage her body in such a rough and tumble fashion that she would never be able to walk the same way again. His mischievous look was nothing less than beastly. He eyed her and the smile became more wicked with each ticking second.
Had a man ever looked at her as if she was rare filet?

That particular scene was so much fun to write. The truth behind these characters is that they are both damaged souls, but you’d never know it during this scene. As writers, I think we can use so many things to describe our partner, the way we feel and of course what we would love to do to them. Feeling that evil grin coming on. Tell me, what is a creative manner that you would describe either a sensual moment or the way he looks in a pair of skintight jeans? I would love to hear.
I enjoy mixing fantasy with fiction and of course in writing erotic, you want your readers more than a little hot and bothered. You want them so uncomfortable in their seats that they are left breathless, panting and wanting more. Hopefully, I give you a little taste of that. So, the next time you go into a grocery store, think of something that might kick up the heat more than a notch in your relationship. You never know just how tasty it can be!

Good post. What revs my engine is a small hoop earring in one earlobe. I hate seeing a man with big diamond studs in each ear. Not sexy at all. One pierced nipple is also sexy. Accent-- Cajun or Irish. Stubble and chest hair.
